Basement Café News – Vegan Pizza!

Four Side Pizza Coming Soon

Good News for Veganuary

After the sad demise of Earth Café in our basement space, we’ve been in discussions about something new there, and it’s looking good.

For some of January and February, we’re hosting a new pop-up café with delicious pizzas, doughnuts and coffee on offer downstairs from Four Side Vegan Pizza, an independent, exciting and ethical business.

COVID restrictions have delayed the eat-in option, but take-away / delivery is going ahead. Four Sides refers to the shape of the pizzas – 72-hour proved Detroit-style – with a thick rectangle base, ample vegan toppings and crispy edges. Four Side will be alcohol-free with an entirely vegan menu,

Depending on how the pop up venture goes, Four Side may be a more permanent fixture in the basement. Plans are still being discussed for a Sangha tea house / dry bar that could run alongside Four Side.

Watch this Space!

Things are happening quite quickly and Four Side is initially open for delivery and collection through Good Eats and Deliveroo. There’s a great write-up in Manchester’s Finest, and some very tempting pictures on  Four Side Vegan Pizza’s Instagram
