A talk by Arthavadin on Triratna Night at Manchester Buddhist Centre, 7th December 2015

The Buddha recommended that his disciples leave the worldly life and enter the forest. Arthavadin explores this exhortation as a state of mind and not just a physical act.

Arthavadin first encountered Manchester Buddhist Centre in 1994 and was ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Order ten years later. The name he was given on ordination means “he who explains the meaning — the meaning that leads to the goal of the ultimate good”
