What’s happening at the Centre?

There’s loads going on and the Sangha are doing it!

Silabodhi, the Centre’s Chair, gives a short video update on how we’re getting on with plans to partially reopen in September

Silabodhi mentions some major areas of hard, slow work on challenging issues like health and safety assessments and so on, but puts the emphasis on the overwhelming help and support being offered by the Centre’s community or Sangha – the heart of the Buddhist Centre.

We’re building towards a hybrid approach of online and face-to-face communication at the Centre, with the physical re-opening being a partial one. In the meantime, Sangha members have stepped up and contributed more and more, with many committing to lead meditation and run events, including new fortnightly Sangha nights and important conversations about race.
