Closure of Clear Vision

Clear Vision is sadly closing at the end of August

Clear Vision is based here at Manchester Buddhist Centre and many friends have worked and volunteered there over the years.

A Vital Part of our Community

Over the past thirty-five years Clear Vision has been a vital part of the FWBO / Triratna Community. It has documented much of our history through countless video programmes, as well as developing the beginnings of a vast photographic and video archive and library. Clear Vision also created a range of award-winning programmes and teaching resources on Buddhism for school and college students of all ages and, of course, worked throughout as a team-based right livelihood project.

Into the Future

Some of Clear Vision’s work will be maintained and continued by other people in the Triratna community – see Clear Vision’s Trustees’ statement for details

Old Friends

Over the years, many Clear Vision team members have come and gone, often moving here to work with Clear Vision and often going on to other work in Triratna. They include Aparajita, Bodhiketu, Kalyacitta, ex-Padmasri, ex-Addichabandhu, Lalitavira, Mokshajyoti, Vidyamala, Munisha and Upekshapriya. Our friends Mokshapriya and Vishangka are currently Trustees, and several members of our Sangha have been involved in Clear Vision’s educational visits to our Centre.

Current team members Amaradaya and Sanghadhara are moving on to new things – Amaradaya working for the Order Office and continuing the school visits service within our Manchester Buddhist Centre team; Sanghadhara starting college in September to study graphic design.
