Buddha Day Festival 2020

Sun 10th May, 2020 : 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Vajra Hall Buddha

Silabodhi, Acharashraddha and Vishangka lead our most important festival of the year – a celebration of the Buddha’s enlightenment. The festival is for everyone who is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana practices and open to devotional practice. We invite you to wear a splash of yellow or gold to mark your connection with the Buddha Jewel.

There will be daily Pujas at 6 – 7 pm in the week leading up to the festival, starting on Monday 4th May. Come to all, any or none.

No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start. No charge, but as an unfunded charity, we rely on the generosity of people who use and value the Centre to help cover running costs, over £6,000 a week. We will welcome donations on the day and beyond.

Buddha Day Festival Programme

There will be talks, meditation, sevenfold puja and readings
