Centre Closed, Join us Online

Mon 3rd Aug - Mon 31st Aug

Front of Manchester Buddhist Centre

The Coronavirus outbreak means Manchester Buddhist Centre is closed as a building for the time being, with partial reopening planned for 1st September. We are committed to continuing to share our teachings, practices and friendly connections during this challenging period, and our classes, courses and other events are currently available online through Zoom and sometimes YouTube. We’re likely to continue some online events and classes beyond September.

Our friends at Bodywise on the Centre’s second floor have closed to visitors too and moved many of their activities online. More information from Bodywise. The lovely Earth Café in our basement is also closed.

Staying in touch

If anything changes to an event or course that you have booked on, we will be in touch by email. We’re responding to emails at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, but we’re afraid we are not able to answer phone calls while we’re closed. Please check the website frequently, and join our mailing list to stay up to date with new online events, and news on reopening.

Supporting the Centre

We want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as can. These are very difficult times for us though, and being closed means we have lost much of our income: we need your help! So if you value our Centre and community, please think about making a regular or one-off donation here.
