Meditation Day Retreat
Our days can feel busy with many demands and little opportunity for stillness and simplicity. Join experienced meditators Amalacitta and Paranayaka for an opportunity to retreat from the world for a day. No phones, no emails and no demands from the people around you. Just a day of meditation and calm, together with space to explore how the Buddha’s teachings can help us lead a richer and more integrated life.
This day is open to those new to meditation, as well as those who already have a meditation practice.

The price for the day is £50 standard rate / £35 concessionary rate / £19 age 18 - 25 rate. Payment still a problem? As a small unfunded charity, the Centre relies on the generosity of people who come here, but we don't want to turn anyone away. • Bookings close at 3 pm on the previous Friday
• Arrive from 10 am to meet, relax, settle in with a drink, then it’s a prompt 10.30 start
• Please bring your own vegetarian or vegan food for lunch, or you could pick something up on your way in from one of the nearby shops and takeaways
• You may also wish to bring a note book and pen
What if I have to cancel?
Get in touch - you can:• Transfer to a similar event when possible
• Cancel and get a full refund if the event is more than 14 days away
• Cancel, but with a cancellation charge of £10 for a day event or six-week course, and £20 for a weekend event, if less than 14 days from the event date
