How to go Deeper in Meditation, Online with Saccacitta
Mon 10th Aug : 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
“The Monday night classes are such an important and helpful addition to sangha life. At the end of a busy Monday I’m often frazzled, but the experience of sitting back, receiving such fantastic teaching and being guided in new ways to experience and work with my mind is so refreshing. Thanks so much”
Brahmaviharas and mental resilience
Meditation can help in different ways to cope with change and adversity. In this session, led by Saccacitta, we will be looking at how a set of meditations, the Brahmaviharas, can help our mental resilience.
Who is the event for?
It’s suitable for anyone familiar with the two meditation practices we teach here – Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana – and with at least six months regular meditation practice.
Each evening will vary, but you can expect periods of meditation with short talks and discussion – sometimes in small groups – and a ten-minute break around the mid-point.
