Mahasraddha on Exploring the Mind:
When we think of exploration, we may think of exploring a neighbourhood, a town, a city; we may even think of space exploration. But, as Buddhist practitioners and meditators, our primary exploration is that of the mind. Through this exploration, our understanding and seeing of mind deepens and with it, liberation from the constricting poisons of greed, hatred and delusion. A key tool in this exploration of mind is the quality of one-pointed concentration, at least initially as we settle into absorption. Through guided meditation, we will be exploring this key quality: developing it, experiencing it, and seeing its potential and importance in spiritual life.
