Broadening and Deepening our PracticeThese evenings are an opportunity to come together and practise, with a focus on deepening meditation - online for the foreseeable future. Each week, as a community, we explore different aspects and approaches to our meditation practice. The structure varies but you can expect periods of meditation with short talks and discussion - sometimes in small groups - and a ten-minute break around the mid-point.
Tonight’s session is led by the Centre’s Chair, Silabodhi, on the theme of why atman – view of a fixed self – makes it so hard to be in the now.
Who is the evening for?
It’s suitable for anyone familiar with the two meditation practices we teach here – Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana – and with at least six months regular meditation practice.
