Dharmacharinis Gathering: Kulas as Practice

Sat 3rd Oct : 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Female Buddha Figure with 7 offering bowls

An opportunity for women Members of the Triratna Buddhist Order in Manchester to come together with Order sisters to share our experience of being in kulas and how to make them an effective and inspiring situation for women wanting to deepen their going for refuge and to join the Order.

We will be reminding ourselves of the role of kulas and how to support women to set them up and to get the best out of them. We will be sharing our experiences of what creates the most positive kulas and difficulties that can arise and how to turn these around.

As Kalyacitta says, “In discussing another’s going for refuge, my own is brought into question”. Kulas and co-creating them can also help us Dharmacharinis go deeper.

Feel free to come to the centre early. No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start. It's always safest to check the website before setting off in case the details have changed.
