Join us as we celebrate the life and achievements of the great Buddhist social reformer, Dr Ambedkar. Everyone welcome, no need to book. It's always safest to check the website before setting off in case the details have changed.

You’re welcome to turn up to the Centre at 6 pm to eat and chat together downstairs, then it’s a 7 pm start in the shrine room. Please be here in good time for a prompt and comfortable start.

About Dr Ambedkar

In 1956, Dr Ambedkar converted to Buddhism to escape the hell of the Indian caste system. This started the revival of Buddhism in India, as many of his followers converted too, gaining a life of dignity and respect.
