Younger Women’s* Evening

Mon 12th Oct : 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Misty forest

An evening for women in their twenties and thirties, whether new to the Buddhist Centre or more experienced. Siladevi, Lilasuri, Jayadhi, Nadia and Zsuzsanna offer an opportunity for younger women to come together to share food and practice.

How do we navigate sex, sexuality and relationships in a way that feels authentic, ethical and kind?

Tonight we will explore these questions through the lens of Buddhist ethics. No judgement. No right or wrong answers. Just space to reflect, explore and have honest conversations. Join for meditation, a panel discussion and an opportunity to share our experiences

No need to book, and please feel free to gather from 6.30 pm before we start in the shrine room at 7 pm. It's always safest to check the website before setting off in case the details have changed

* While clarity is sought how to run and advertise our single sex events in line with UK law (we are not alone with this) we want to make it clear that this event is open to both trans-women and non-binary people (female at birth)

Health Issues

If there are any health issues, physical, emotional or mental, that could affect your participation in a course or event, please contact the Buddhist Centre at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, and ask to talk confidentially to one of our Order members, before deciding whether to attend.

Supporting the Buddhist Centre

There is no charge to attend but we deeply appreciate donations. You can make regular or one-off online donations here; contactless card donations on our donation station at reception; or leave cash in the box by the till. Thank you, and do please get in touch with any queries.
