Six-Week Intro to Buddhism and Meditation Course starts

In a world that often feels rushed, lonely, and uncertain, this six-week course offers something different: a chance to slow down, come together, and ask the questions that really matter – about life, death, love, and what it means to be truly human.
We’ll gather here at Manchester Buddhist Centre each Tuesday evening to explore meditation, kindness, and the radical teachings of the Buddha. You’ll learn two core meditation practices, meet others who are on the same journey, and take your first steps into a community that’s grounded in authenticity, reflection, and care.
No experience needed – just a sense that something deeper might be possible, and a willingness to explore it with others.

The price for the six weeks is £130 standard rate / £80 concessionary / £40 age 18 - 25. Payment still a problem? As a small unfunded charity, the Centre relies on the generosity of people who come here, but we don't want to turn anyone away from our events. If there are any health issues, physical, emotional or mental, that could affect your participation in a course or event, please contact the Buddhist Centre at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, and ask to talk confidentially to one of our Order members, before deciding whether to attend.What if I have to cancel?
Get in touch - you can:• Transfer to a similar event when possible
• Cancel and get a full refund if the event is more than 14 days away
• Cancel, but with a cancellation charge of £10 for a day event or six-week course, and £20 for a weekend event, if less than 14 days from the event date
