Mindfulness and Kindness Online Lunchtime Meditation Class
Wed 2nd Sep : 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
Ordinary life can be hard, but things are particularly difficult right now for many of us. How can Buddhist meditation help? Meditation can help us develop mindfulness, kindness, clarity, positivity, and can enable us to gain a bigger perspective on life. Through regular practice and over time, we can learn our mind’s habits, and cultivate new, more positive ways of being in the world. Come and find out how!
Our weekday lunchtime meditation sessions are guided and are suitable for anyone.
First-time meditators are particularly welcome but old hands very welcome too! Go to our meditation page if you’d like to find out more before you visit. Even in an online group, meditating together can help us feel connected with others, whatever our situation, there’s usually a bit of time at the end to ask questions or talk about how it went. These sessions usually go ahead on bank holidays.
Join this event through the Zoom AppWhile the Centre is mostly closed by the coronavirus pandemic, we're running many events online through Zoom. • New to Zoom? • Our online classes and other events are friendly and participative, with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can! • If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there's probably a sudden problem at our end.
