Mindfulness and Kindness Online Meditation Class
Fri 12th Jun : 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 1:00 pm, repeating until Fri 31st Jul, 2020
Ordinary life can be hard, but things are particularly difficult right now for many of us. How can Buddhist meditation help? Meditation can help us develop mindfulness, kindness, clarity, positivity, and can enable us to gain a bigger perspective on life. Through regular practice and over time, we can learn our mind’s habits, and cultivate new, more positive ways of being in the world. Come and find out how!
Our weekday lunchtime meditation sessions are guided and are suitable for anyone.
First-time meditators are particularly welcome but old hands very welcome too! Even in an online virtual group, meditating together can help us feel connected with others, whatever our different situations and there’s usually a bit of time at the end to ask questions or talk about how it went. These sessions usually go ahead on bank holidays.
Join this event through the Zoom AppWhile the Centre is closed by the coronavirus pandemic, we're running many events online through Zoom. • New to Zoom? • Our online classes and other events are friendly and participative, with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. - If you’d like an unguided morning sit, Triratna offers online open meditation, 7.30 – 8.15 am, Monday to Friday
Supporting the CentreWe want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as can. These are very difficult times for us though, and being closed means we have lost much of our income but not much of our costs: we need your help! So if you value our Centre and community, please make a regular or one-off donation here. The usual rates for these classes are £5 standard rate or £3 concessionary rate
