Online Morning Open Meditation

Thu 2nd Apr : 7:30 am - 8:15 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 7:30 am, repeating until Fri 17th Apr, 2020

Two hands touching

At a distance but sitting together

For morning meditation, anyone is welcome to join the Triratna Buddhist Centre Online‘s 7.30 am open meditation – an unguided session where meditators across the world are invited to bring our own practice and sit together. Some of us in Manchester are joining in regularly. Buddhist Centre Online is also offering lunchtime open meditations, daily podcasts and more through the Dharma Toolkit.

The Coronavirus outbreak means Manchester Buddhist Centre is closed to the public until at least 20th April. We are committed to continuing to share our teachings and practices during this challenging period and some of our classes, courses and other events are now available online through Zoom. Please check the website frequently, and join our mailing list to stay up to date with new online events.

We are all Interconnected

The Buddha taught that we are deeply interconnected in seen and unseen ways. This virus has affected us all and we as a community continue to send our well-wishing and care to all those throughout the world who have been severely affected by it.
