Event Series Event Series: Weekday Opening

Centre Open 11 am – 3 pm Today

Thu 20th Jun : 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Front door of Buddhist Centre with three jewels sculpture

Our friendly and welcoming book and gift shop and general reception are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 11 am to 3 pm as well as on Saturdays from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm. Lunchtime meditation is in-person in the Lotus Hall at 1 pm today.

Thinking of coming to the Centre?

You’ll be greeted by a helpful receptionist who can answer any questions you have about Buddhism, our Buddhist community and what we do here. Or you can just browse our book and gift shop where you can pay by card – no minimum amount – or in cash with the exact money. You’re also welcome to make a drink and enjoy the Centre’s artworks and tranquil atmosphere. If you’re here for meditation or a class, there will be someone to show you up to one of our beautiful shrine rooms.

• Our friends at Bodywise on the Centre’s second floor have their own opening arrangements – More information on Bodywise website

Staying in touch in changing times

It’s best to contact us by email at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, as we are not always able to answer phone calls when the Centre’s closed. Please check the website frequently, and join our mailing list to stay up to date with new events, and any changes to our opening arrangements.

Supporting the Buddhist Centre

There is no charge to attend but we deeply appreciate donations. You can make regular or one-off online donations here; contactless card donations on our first-floor donation station next to the lift; or leave cash in the box by the till. Thank you, and do please get in touch with any queries.
