Centre Open 11 am – 3 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Thu 22nd Jul : 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Our friendly and welcoming book and gift shop and general reception are open two days a week now – Tuesdays and Thursday from 11am til 3pm. Lunchtime meditation is back in-person in the Lotus Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays too, with Wednesdays remaining online – no need to book, though numbers are limited. We’ll keep you updated on more changes as they happen.
Thinking of coming to the Centre?
Firstly, please read our advice on visiting the Centre in Covid times.
On what to expect – well, you’ll be greeted by a helpful receptionist in a face-covering. You can book on to online courses and find out more about Buddhism, our Buddhist community and what we do here. In our book and gift shop you can pay by card – no minimum amount – or in cash. Very sorry but we can’t take donations of second hand books at the moment, though we are hoping to keep some available for sale.
Join our events online
We are committed to keep sharing our teachings, practices and friendly connections during this challenging period, and many of our classes, courses and other events have been running successfully online through Zoom over the past year. Many of our talks and some led meditations are available on YouTube too. We’ll continue offering online events and classes for now, alongside in-person events as times change.
Elsewhere in the building . . .
• Our friends at Bodywise on the Centre’s second floor have their own opening arrangements – More information on Bodywise website
• Four Side Vegan Pizza is now offering collection and delivery from our basement café space, with eat-in options maybe available in future
Staying in touch
If anything changes to an event or course that you have booked on, we will be in touch by email. We’re responding to emails at firstname.lastname@example.org, but we’re afraid we are not able to answer phone calls when the Centre’s closed. Please check the website frequently, and join our mailing list to stay up to date with new online events, and news on opening arrangements.
