Poetry Discussion: Mary Jean Chan
Sat 14th Dec : 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Centre’s small and friendly poetry group, led by Edmund Prestwich — all welcome. No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start. No charge, but as an unfunded charity, we rely on the generosity of people who use and value the Centre to help cover running costs, over £6,000 a week. We will welcome donations on the day and beyond.
This month’s poet is Mary Jean Chan, and in particular her debut, Flèche. We usually bring copies of the poems to be discussed, and try to read them in advance. Edmund’s website has full information on the poems we’ll be looking at, and also where to find them:
Monthly Poetry Discussion
We usually, but not always, get together on the second Saturday of the month to discuss a poet and their work, usually, but not always, a modern one. We sometimes take a break in the summer and at other holiday times. Keep an eye on What’s On for details. It's always safest to check the website before setting off in case the details have changed
