Rejoicings and Puja for Maniraja

Mon 2nd Sep : 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Maniraja with Mahashraddha

An evening of rejoicing in and celebrating Maniraja who recently died. Maniraja had a strong connection to Manchester Buddhist Centre before moving to the men’s retreat centre, Guhyaloka, some years ago.

Mahasraddha will lead an evening of rejoicing in Maniraja and a puja dedicated to Vajrasattva, a key deity in Maniraja’s life. Together, we will bring to mind his many qualities. Please bring something that reflects an aspect of your connection with Maniraja, to offer during the puja.

If you can’t get to the Centre, maybe you can join us in bringing Maniraja to mind from wherever you are at 7 pm?

Puja means devotional ritual – more about Puja.

Open to everyone with experience of the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditations and open to devotional practice. No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start.
