Memorial Puja and Meditation for Dharmottara

Thu 22nd Aug : 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

This evening we will come together for meditation and a Padmasambhava puja, where we will bring to mind and generate metta for Dharmottara, who has recently died, following a diagnosis of cancer in 2017. If you can’t get to the Centre, maybe you can join us in bringing Dharmttara to mind from wherever you are at 6 pm? Here is the Padmasabhava mantra

Some of us knew Dharmottara well, others less so, and still others didn’t know her at all. Whether you knew her or not, do come along to send metta to Dharmottara. She had a long-standing and strong connection with the Manchester and Liverpool Sanghas. She was a Mitra Convenor for women, a Trustee at the Manchester Buddhist Centre, a Private Preceptor to five local Dharmacharinis and a Kalyana Mitra to many others. She had a very significant positive impact on the spiritual vitality here and will be dearly missed.

Puja means devotional ritual – more about Puja.
All welcome to attend. No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start.
