Sangha Day Festival 2019

Sun 17th Nov : 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm

On Sangha Day we celebrate our spiritual community in one of the four main Buddhist festivals in the year, usually held at the time of the full moon. We invite you to wear something red to honour the Sangha Jewel. The festival will be followed by the return of our ever-popular Sangha Skills Auction.

Who is the event for?

It’s for Order members, Mitras and Centre regulars who have completed a Buddhism Going Deeper course. Please get in touch if you’re not sure.
No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start. No charge, but as an unfunded charity, we rely on the generosity of people who use and value the Centre to help cover running costs, over £6,000 a week. We will welcome donations on the day and beyond.

Sangha Day Programme

Further details to follow. We’ll most likely start with a shared vegan lunch and then go up to the shrine room at 1.30 for talks, meditation and puja. The skills auction will then probably follow on, after a tea break
