Online Sangha Evening: Living in Community
Fri 15th Jan : 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm

The Collective Objective: Living together, growing together, becoming true individuals
To kick off our Sangha Evenings for 2021, we’ll be exploring a theme over many weeks of The Collective Objective. We’ll be hearing from members of the Sangha, both local and from further afield, about their experiences of living in Buddhist communities and working in Buddhist businesses and the impact this has had on their lives.
This week we’ll explore how living in community with other Buddhists can help us on our spiritual path. We’ll hear from Buddhasamagama, Janet, Sanghadhara and Sthirajyoti who all live in spiritual communities. They’ll talk about their experience in this area and how it enriches their Buddhist practice.
At our fortnightly Sangha Evenings, centre regulars get together for talks, discussion, ritual and friendship. These sessions are currently organised by Taravandana and Karen Levin.Who is the event for?
Suitable for anyone who has experience of our two meditation practices, Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana, and is open to Buddhist ritual.Join this event through the Zoom App
