Online Sangha Evening: The Family of Protectors
Fri 16th Oct : 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm
Centre regulars get together for talks, discussion and friendship at our fortnightly Sangha evening. No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start. Each Sangha evening varies, but there will usually be short talks and discussion, often in small groups, with a short break around the mid-point and a closing ritual.
Exploring the Family of Protectors with Parami
Parami joins us again, for the second of a series of three evenings exploring the family of Protectors. Ordained in 1980, Parami is one of Triratna’s most senior and experienced Order members. This week she focuses on the golden, gentle-voiced Manjushri. The final session will be on 4th December.
Who is the event for?Suitable for anyone who has experience of our two meditation practices, Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana, and is open to Buddhist ritual.
Join this event through the Zoom AppWhile the Centre is mostly closed by the coronavirus pandemic, we're running many events online through Zoom. • New to Zoom? • Our online classes and other events are friendly and participative, with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can! • If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there's probably a sudden problem at our end.
