Online Sangha Evening: The Family of Protectors

Fri 4th Dec : 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm

Centre regulars get together for talks, discussion and friendship at our fortnightly Sangha evening, though this one is only a week after the last! Just to keep us all on our toes. No need to book, just turn up a few minutes before we start. Each Sangha evening varies, but there will usually be short talks and discussion, often in small groups, with a short break around the mid-point and a closing ritual.

Exploring the Family of Protectors with Parami

Parami joins us again, with the third and last of the talks she began in October. Ordained in 1980, Parami is one of Triratna’s most senior and experienced Order members. Tonight she shares with us all the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, the embodiment of Energy who overcomes obstacles.

Who is the event for?

Suitable for anyone who has experience of our two meditation practices, Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana, and is open to Buddhist ritual.

Supporting the Centre

We want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as can. These are very difficult times for us though, and being mostly closed for so long means we have lost much of our income: we need your help! So if you value our Centre and community, please think about making a regular or one-off donation here.
