Rainbow Cloud

A new Saturday afternoon series from Suryaka, Sanghadhara, Aparajita and friends. running from 9th December 2023 through to the end of February, with a festive season break on 23rd and 30th December. No charge, no need to book. The sessions will be live-streamed on our YouTube  channel – link to follow. If you’re coming in-person, arrive from 1 pm with some lunch to settle in and have an informal chat if you like, and you’re also welcome to stay on afterwards for a cuppa.

There’s no need to come to every session – they stand alone. Just come to the ones you can.

Who is this Event for?

It's for anyone who has completed an introductory Buddhism course here, or has attended Saturday morning Tools for Living Your Life for six weeks or more. Please get in touch if you’re not sure.

We hope this series will help bring the wider Sangha together, from newer folk to Order members, bringing energy and a strong focus on our going for refuge, with the fantastic source of inspiration of the Refuge Tree.

• Suryaka’s two minute video invitation to the series

The Refuge Tree

Triratna’s Tree of Refuge and Respect is a rich and profound depiction of the Three Jewels: we have the Buddhas of the past, present and future as well as more archetypal timeless Bodhisattvas; we have the Dharma as texts as well as all the teachings issuing from the Buddhas and historical teachers, including our very own Sangharakshita; and of course we have the Sangha jewel expressed in the many teachers of the past, disciples of the Buddha and our teacher’s teachers. So rich, diverse and intriguing!

Come and join us on a journey through talks, discussion, ritual, video, to meet some of these characters and explore their connection to us through Sangharakshita, the founder of Triratna.
