Tools for Living your Life

Sat 5th Mar : 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, repeating indefinitely

Hybrid Hybrid Event
Water Lilies

A friendly and practical weekly introduction to Buddhism and meditation, with the option of joining us online or attending in-person at the Centre. We cover a different topic each time, usually in series lasting a few weeks each, and each session includes a period of led meditation.

Everyone welcome, any Saturday

Whether you are completely new to Buddhism and meditation or want to revisit the core teachings in a friendly group, join us for a warm welcome on a Saturday morning. Come once or as often as you like and there's no need to be here at the beginning of a series, each session stands alone and we always start with a recap. Suryaka, Shakyajata, Suryasraddha and/or Mahabodhi usually lead the sessions with a team of friends from the Centre.

Come to the Centre or Join us Online

Around half of us come to Tools for Living here at the Centre, and half join in online from home. You don't need to book, and the price is the same for both options. Whichever way you come, please be here in good time for a prompt and comfortable start.

£6 standard rate or £4 concessionary rate

Problem paying? We don't want to turn anyone away. If you are unable to pay the suggested rates, please contact the Centre Team on info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk and we'll work something out with you.

Coming In-Person?

Before coming here, please read our advice on visiting the Centre in person. We take Covid precautions seriously and follow all government guidelines. We have air purifiers in both shrine rooms where classes are held, and continue to restrict numbers. Please wear a mask in all public parts of the building and do a lateral flow test before attending any event.
