Tools for Living: Padmasambhava Special
Sat 8th Oct : 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

A friendly and practical weekly introduction to Buddhism and meditation, with the option of joining us online or attending in-person at the Centre - no need to book ahead. We cover a different topic each time, usually in series lasting a few weeks each, and each session includes a period of led meditation.
Introducing Buddhist Ritual and the Figure of Padmasambhava
As part of our Padmasambhava Festival Day, today’s session will cover an introduction to Buddhist ritual and to the transformative figure of Padmasambhava, led by Vishangka. Everyone welcome, whether you are going to this afternoon’s festival, are a regular at Tools for Living or are simply interested. The session will be in two parts, introducing ritual at 11 am, and Padmasambhava at 12 noon. Come to either or both.
Everyone Welcome, any Saturday
Whether you are completely new to Buddhism and meditation or want to revisit the core teachings in a friendly group, join us for a warm welcome on most Saturday mornings. Come once or as often as you like and there's no need to be here for the beginning of a series - each session stands alone and we always start with a recap. Although Shakyajata, Mahabodhi and/or Suryasraddha usually lead the sessions, some great guest teachers will be leading in July and August, along with the usual team of friends from the Centre.Tools for Living - The Next Few Weeks
