No Tools for Living your Life on 9th July

Sat 9th Jul : 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Water Lilies

Sorry, there’s no Tools session today as the teachers have other commitments.

Tools for Living your Life

A friendly and practical weekly introduction to Buddhism and meditation, with the option of joining us online or attending in-person at the Centre - no need to book ahead. We cover a different topic each time, usually in series lasting a few weeks each, and each session includes a period of led meditation. Over the early summer we'll be missing several Saturdays to make way for other events here.

Everyone Welcome, any Saturday

Whether you are completely new to Buddhism and meditation or want to revisit the core teachings in a friendly group, join us for a warm welcome on most Saturday mornings. Come once or as often as you like and there's no need to be here for the beginning of a series - each session stands alone and we always start with a recap. Shakyajata, Mahabodhi and/or Suryasraddha usually lead the sessions with a team of friends from the Centre.

Tools for Living - The Next Few Weeks

2nd July: No class, as it's Tejananda's meditation weekend
9th July: No class, as the teachers have other commitments
16th July: No class, as it's Dharma Day this weekend
23rd July: New series starts - details to follow. Silabodhi leads this session

Come to the Centre or Join us Online

These days, most people are coming here in person for Tools, with others joining in online from home. The price is the same for both options and you don't need to book. Whichever way you come, please be here in good time for a prompt and comfortable start.

£6 standard rate or £4 concessionary rate

Problem paying? We don't want to turn anyone away. If you are unable to pay the suggested rates, please contact the Centre Team on info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk and we'll work something out with you.

Coming In-Person?

Before coming here, please read our advice on visiting the Centre in person for up-to-date information on our Covid precautions.

Health Issues

If there are any health issues, physical, emotional or mental, that could affect your participation in a course or event, please contact the Buddhist Centre at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, and ask to talk confidentially to one of our Order members, before deciding whether to attend.
