Tools for Living your Life, Online: Ending the Year

Sat 19th Dec, 2020 : 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Virtual Event

Friendly and practical online weekly introduction to Buddhism and meditation with a different topic each time, usually in themes lasting a few weeks each. Today is a one-off session though, the last of the year. With friendship and ritual, warmth and laughter, we will be looking back, looking forward and embracing change.

Everyone welcome, any Saturday

Whether you are completely new to Buddhism and meditation or want to revisit the core teachings in a friendly group, join us for a warm welcome on a Saturday morning. Come once or as often as you like, no need to be here at the beginning of a series and no need to book. Suryaka, Shakyajata and / or Mahabodhi usually lead the sessions with a team of friends from the Centre, and we'll be here online for the time being regardless of any changes in the opening of the Centre.

Join this event through the Zoom App

During the pandemic, we're running many events online through Zoom.
New to Zoom?
• Our online classes and other events are friendly and participative, with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can!
• If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there's probably a sudden problem at our end.
• If you are asked for the meeting ID, it’s 999023639

Supporting the Centre

We want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as can. These are very difficult times for us though, and being mostly closed means we have lost much of our income but not much of our costs: we need your help! So if you value our Centre and community, please make a regular or one-off donation here. The usual rates for these classes are £6 standard rate or £4 concessionary rate
