Tools for Living, Online: Why I am a Buddhist
Sat 20th Mar : 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Virtual Event

Friendly and practical online weekly introduction to Buddhism and meditation with a different topic each time, usually in themes lasting a few weeks each. This morning is a one-off session though.
Everyone welcome, any Saturday
Whether you are completely new to Buddhism and meditation or want to revisit the core teachings in a friendly group, join us for a warm welcome on a Saturday morning. Come once or as often as you like, no need to be here at the beginning of a series and no need to book. Suryaka, Shakyajata and / or Mahabodhi usually lead the sessions with a team of friends from the Centre, and we'll be here online for the time being regardless of any changes in the opening of the Centre. Why I am a Buddhist
Today the team give a taster of how the Buddha’s teachings have transformed us and our relationship to the world. Hear some personal stories from experienced practising Buddhists along with newer people. And as usual, there’ll be chance to ask us whatever you like! It’s a great way to learn more of what it’s all about, and to see if you want to come along to other sessions or take things further with a course.
