Women’s Sangha Weekend Online: Impermanence
Sat 14th Nov : 10:00 am - Sun 15th Nov : 4:00 pm
Women from the Manchester and Blackburn Sanghas come together online for a weekend of talks, discussion, meditation and ritual, led by Vajramudita, Satyamuni and Ratnagita. Open to women who have completed a Buddhism Going Deeper course.
Impermanence ****** Impermanence – Vajramudita writes:
It’s going to be different to what I imagined we would be doing when Satyamuni, Ratnagita and I offered last year to lead this year’s Women’s Sangha weekend. Yet it seems more important than ever to connect with friends new and old and to practice the Dharma together however we can.
• What is my response to impermanence?
• How do I respond when plans and expectations fall away again and again?
• What’s inspiring me right here, right now?
• How are you maintaining friendships?
We’ll be practising, exploring and sharing together as best we can to build on and create new connections between us.
The Weekend is based on Generosity
There is no fixed charge and we want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as can. These are very difficult times for the Centre though, and being mostly closed means we have lost much of our income but kept most of our costs, so please consider making a donation. The usual price for an online weekend event like this would be £60 standard rate; £40 concessionary; £25 age 18 – 25. Whether you donate or not, booking is essential please. Book Now – there’s an online donation option on the booking form.
Join this event through the Zoom AppWhile the Centre is mostly closed by the coronavirus pandemic, we're running many events online through Zoom. • New to Zoom? • Our online classes and other events are friendly and participative, with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can! • If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there's probably a sudden problem at our end.
• We’ll send the Zoom link once you’ve registered
• Bookings may close a day or two before, so we can make sure everyone has the link
There will be two sessions each day. The morning sessions will be from 10 am – 12 pm and the afternoon sessions will be from 2 – 4:30 pm on Saturday and 2 – 4 pm on Sunday.
