Young Buddhists Group Online
Fri 19th Jun : 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
A friendly informal group for young adults over eighteen, led by young people for young people. We are supporting one another to deepen our experience of the Dharma, through friendship, events and study.
Join this event through the Zoom AppWhile the Centre is closed by the coronavirus pandemic, we're running many events online through Zoom. • New to Zoom? • Our online classes and other events are friendly and participative, with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can! • If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there's probably a sudden problem at our end
• Take me to the session
Supporting the CentreWe want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as can. These are very difficult times for us though, and being closed means we have lost much of our income but not much of our costs: we need your help! So if you value our Centre and community, please think about making a regular or one-off donation here.
Who is the Centre’s Young Buddhists Group for?
Anyone aged 18 to 35 who has learned the two meditation practices we teach here – mindfulness of breathing and Metta Bhavana – and is interested in practising Buddhism with other younger people. We usually meet on the third Friday evening of the month. Interested? Just come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through reception. We also have an MBC Young Buddhists group on Facebook.
