Young Buddhists Group: Checkin

Mon 16th Jun, 2025 : 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Checkin is a monthly in-person meet-up to chat about how things are going in our meditation and Buddhist practice, and to be part of the Manchester Young Buddhist community. It’s in addition to our usual Young Buddhists Group meeting on the first Monday of the month. It’s completely informal and you don’t need any prior experience to attend.

About the Young Buddhists Group

We're a friendly informal group led by young people for young people, open to anyone aged 18 - 30 interested in exploring and practising Buddhism with other younger people. We meet on the first and third Monday evening of the month. Interested? Just come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through the Centre. We also have a Manchester Young Buddhists Group on Facebook.

There's no need to book. We gather together in the Buddhist Centre lounge about thirty minutes before the start of the session and sometimes hang out together afterwards. It'll be great to have you with us!

Health Issues

If there are any health issues, physical, emotional or mental, that could affect your participation in a course or event, please contact the Buddhist Centre at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, and ask to talk confidentially to one of our Order members, before deciding whether to attend.

Supporting the Buddhist Centre

There is no charge to attend but we deeply appreciate donations. You can make regular or one-off online donations here; contactless card donations on our first-floor donation station next to the lift; or leave cash in the box by the till. Thank you, and do please get in touch with any queries.
