Virtual Event Virtual Event

A friendly informal group for young adults over eighteen, led by young people for young people.

Checkin is a monthly Zoom meet-up to just chat about how things are going in our meditation and Buddhist practice, and to be part of the Manchester Young Buddhist community.

Watch this video to find out more about what checkin is all about.

It’s in addition to our usual Young Buddhists Group meeting, that happens on the first Monday of the month. It’s completely informal and you don’t need any prior experience to attend.

Who is the Centre’s Young Buddhists Group for?

Anyone aged 18 to 30.  We also have a Manchester Young Buddhists group on Facebook.

Getting the most out of Zoom
• Our online events are friendly and participative, often with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can!
• If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there may be a sudden problem at our end
• If you have any accessibility needs that might stop you from attending our zoom sessions, do get in touch with us at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk. We'll do what we can to remove any accessibility barriers

Supporting the Centre

We want to offer as much as we can freely online for as long as we can. These are very difficult times for us though, and being mostly closed for so long means we have lost much of our income: we need your help! So if you value our Centre and community, please think about making a regular or one-off donation here.
