Young Buddhists: Learning to Feel
Mon 1st Mar : 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A Friendly Informal Group for Young Adults over Eighteen
Led by young people for young people, we are supporting one another to deepen our experience of the Dharma, through friendship, events and study.
This month’s session will be led by Oskar, he says:
In this month’s session, we’ll be exploring emotional processing. Lockdown can deal us all sorts of intense feelings, from anxiety to loneliness, and many of us have spent time struggling to cope.
In this session we’ll be learning some tools that can not only allow us to feel less overwhelmed, but also allow these strong feelings to be a catalyst for richness and depth in our lives.
The evening will include a short talk, meditation and conversation. Everything will be guided and there is no prior experience required.
Who is the Young Buddhists Group for?
Anyone aged 18 – 35 who is interested in exploring and practising Buddhism with other younger people. We meet on the first and third Monday evening of the month. Interested? Just come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through the Centre. We also have a Manchester Young Buddhists Group on Facebook.
