Young Buddhists @ Ordination Welcome Back
Mon 4th Oct : 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
A Friendly Informal Group for Young Adults over Eighteen
Led by young people for young people, we are supporting one another to deepen our experience of the Dharma, through friendship, events and study.
Joining the Online Welcome Back
This month, instead of our usual session, we will be joining the big event welcoming back four women who have recently been ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order. These are always inspiring events and don’t happen very often, so it’s a really significant occasion! It’s a great opportunity to experience the wider community at the Buddhist Centre, as well as getting a glimpse of where Buddhist practice can take us.
There’s still an opportunity to gather at the Centre as young people this month though! The day before this event, on Sunday 3rd October, we’ll be holding a day retreat for anybody aged 18-30. Keep an eye on the website events for more information!
Join this Event through the Zoom App• Getting the most out of Zoom • Our online events are friendly and participative, often with opportunities to ask questions and share your own experience. Do turn your camera and microphone on if you can! • If a session doesn't start on time, please give it a few minutes, there may be a sudden problem at our end • If you have any accessibility needs that might stop you from attending our zoom sessions, do get in touch with us at email@example.com. We'll do what we can to remove any accessibility barriers

Who is the Young Buddhists Group for?
Anyone aged 18 – 30 who is interested in exploring and practising Buddhism with other younger people. We meet on the first and third Monday evening of the month. Interested? Just come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through the Centre. We also have a Manchester Young Buddhists Group on Facebook.
There’s no need to book.
There's no charge to attend this event, but as an unfunded charity, we rely on the generosity of people who use and value the Centre to help cover running costs. We will welcome donations on the day and beyond.
