Young Buddhists Group – Buddhism and Busyness
Mon 4th Jul : 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 7:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating indefinitely

Maintaining our practice whilst living busy lives
How do we maintain our spiritual practice whilst living busy lives, full of responsibilities and distractions demanding our attention?
Stephen and Sanghadhara will be discussing this topic in relation to the Suttas, a collection of ancient Buddhist texts. Through an evening of talks, meditation and discussion, we will be exploring how practical and relevant the Suttas can be to our modern and hectic lives.
Who is the Young Buddhists Group for?
Anyone aged 18 – 30 who is interested in exploring and practising Buddhism with other younger people. We meet on the first and third Monday evening of the month. Interested? Just come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through the Centre. We also have a Manchester Young Buddhists Group on Facebook.
There’s no need to book. We gather together in the Buddhist Centre lounge about thirty minutes before the start of the session and sometimes hang out together afterwards. It’ll be great to have you with us!
Before coming here, please read our advice on visiting the Centre in person for up-to-date information on our Covid precautions.
