Join us this time for an exploration of karma, the universal law that governs cause and effect in our lives. In this session, we will unravel the nuances of Buddhist ethics, offering you personal insights and practical guidance to navigate life’s intricate web of actions and consequences. It turns out that living a Buddhist life is not about being ”good”.
What to Expect…
• Gain a deeper understanding of karma’s fundamental principles and the ethical precepts
• Hear personal stories from young Buddhists about their experiences of applying ethics to their own lives
• Connect with like-minded people through reflecting and discussing the teachings together
Whether you’re new to Buddhism or seeking to deepen your spiritual practice, this session offers a welcoming space for all to meditate, reflect and learn from one another.
We're a friendly informal group led by young people for young people, open to anyone aged 18 - 30 interested in exploring and practising Buddhism with other younger people. We meet on the first and third Monday evening of the month. Interested? Just come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through the Centre. We also have a Manchester Young Buddhists Group on Facebook.
There's no need to book. We gather together in the Buddhist Centre lounge about thirty minutes before the start of the session and sometimes hang out together afterwards. It'll be great to have you with us!
