Young Buddhists: Generosity, Courage and Royal Ease in the Spiritual Life
Mon 5th Oct : 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A Friendly Informal Group for Young Adults over Eighteen
Led by young people for young people, we are supporting one another to deepen our experience of the Dharma, through friendship, events and study.
Who is the Young Buddhists Group for?
Anyone aged 18 – 35 who has learned the two meditation practices we teach – mindfulness of breathing and Metta Bhavana – and is interested in practising Buddhism with other younger people. We usually meet on the third Friday evening of the month. Interested? Come along to one of our meetings or get in touch with us through the Centre. We also have an MBC Young Buddhists Group on Facebook.
Generosity, Courage and Royal Ease in the Spiritual Life
This month’s session we welcome a guest leader, Karunatara. She will explore how a deeper, felt connection with generosity, courage and royal ease have informed and expanded her Buddhist practice. Karunatara will also illustrate how these are even more useful in current times, when it is so easy to feel anxious about the state of the world.
