Lunchtime Meditation

Wed 27th May : 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
People meditating

A guided meditation session, led by experienced meditators and open to anyone. Just turn up a few minutes before we start, no need to book. The class is held here in the Centre's Lotus Hall on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

More Information

• Price is £4
• We don’t want to turn anyone away. If you can’t afford the charges, then have a word with us - we’ll try and help
• Please make sure you arrive in good time so the class isn’t disturbed by latecomers. We'll do our best to be flexible if you're delayed, but can't admit anybody more than five minutes after the start time

About Meditation

Meditation can help us develop mindfulness, kindness, clarity, positivity, and can enable us to gain a bigger perspective on life. Whether online or in the same space, meditating together can help us feel connected with others, whatever our situation.

There’s more about Buddhist meditation on our meditation page and there's usually a bit of time at the end of the session to ask questions or talk about how it went.

If you'd also like an unguided daily sit, the Buddhist Centre Live offers online open meditation, 7.30 - 8.15 am and 1 pm to 1.45 pm, Monday to Saturday

Health Issues

If there are any health issues, physical, emotional or mental, that could affect your participation in a course or event, please contact the Buddhist Centre at info@manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk, and ask to talk confidentially to one of our Order members, before deciding whether to attend.
